Have you ever bought a Sunday newspaper, whether from the store or by subscription, only to find you didn’t get one of the coupon inserts?
This happened to me on Sunday with the Washington Post. I was so bummed. So I emailed the the subscription services department to ask if there was anything I could do to get these coupons that I missed out on. They replied promptly that they would check into it, and sure enough, this morning I had a fresh Sunday paper waiting in my driveway. Yay!
So if this ever happens to you, just send the paper company a quick email. No sense in missing out on a week’s coupons, right?

I always check my papers before leaving the store because I don’t want that happening to me! I’m glad you got your inserts though. I have heard people writing and asking and being told “no”.
I am glad that you were able to get that fixed! How nice of the paper.
I bought a paper from the store once that was missing its coupon inserts. When I contacted the paper, they said I could drive to their office and pick one up. When I got there, they said they didn’t have any and that they were short inserts that week. They also told me that when they are short, the people with subscriptions get them first. I have a subscription now.
Hilarious you mention that.
I was missing my Smartsource and called the paper, they said they cannot guarantee…blah blah…it had happened the week prior too, so I just bought a second one on Monday. But I wasn’t gonna do that this week. After the lady told me there was nothing she could do my delivery guy showed up and I now have 5 sets of Sunday coupons HAHA.
I just got back from harris teeter and they are now giving 5% off for using your own bags.
I wanted to come back to this entry bc I had remembered reading it last month… The past 2 weeks, the papers I have purchased at local convenience stores have been missing nearly HALF the ads/coupons! So, I emailed someone like you suggested! I did get a call back within a few days, but unfortunately was told that they are only given X amount of inserts from the distributer, and they stuff until they're out. Home deliveries get first priority. So basically they told me that they couldn't guarantee I'd receive all ads & inserts unless I subscribed! I thought that was a bunch of hooey!
