Giant Food Deals: 3/13-3/19

by Mrs. Moneysaver on March 14, 2009

After doubling $1 coupons last week, Giant is back this time with another triple coupon promotion. Check your local ad to verify that your store is participating. Within the in-store ad, you will see five Giant store coupons. Present these coupons in addition to five manufacturer’s coupons, and Giant will triple your savings. The best deal I see within the promotion is on Kellogg’s cereal. See details below.

Giant typically doubles coupons up to 99 cents. Since there’s a low limit of 5 on the number of triple coupons to be used, the prices below reflect the normal double coupon policy rather than the triple coupon policy occurring this week.

Dana, you participate in the caregiversmarketplace? You can receive a lot of money back for buying diapers, pull ups, diaper cream, vitamins, and many other products. A friend just told me about it and I signed up. It’s definitely worth the effort for the rebates — especially when I buy so many things in bulk when they are on sale and can submit only one or two receipts at a time.

None of the Giants around me are tripling coupons. Oh, well!

The Giants here in Fredericksburg aren’t tripling.

Jen- Yes, I have done the Caregivers Marketplace in the past. It’s a great program. I like that you can receive rebates for a a variety of items, rather than sending in for individual rebates. Thanks for sharing this info with my readers though by commenting!

Nicole and Gina- That’s too bad that northern VA stores don’t seem to be tripling this week. Did they double last week?

My Giant had makeshift signs up saying they’ll honor Saweway cqns.
To me that’s saying when I go there to shop I can get even more cheapies……did you see or do this ?

Yes, they doubled w/ the coupons – I sent you an email about it. It was a great time to use those coke coupons.
