Blog Hop ‘09

This weekend there’s a gigantic blogging conference, BlogHer, happening in Chicago.  I’m not there.  And I wish I were.

But for those bloggers who aren’t in Chicago, there’s Blog Hop ‘09 hosted by Robin at Pensieve, along with Jo-Lynne of Musings of a Housewife fame.  Think of the second annual Blog Hop as a cyber cocktail party, except you don’t have to find a dress that fits just right.  It’s a meet and greet with hundreds of fabulous bloggers, with sweet prizes to top it all off.  (If you’re a blogger and want to hop in, you can get more details here.)

The “living better” focus is of utmost importance here. It’s not about being cheap or saving pennies that cost hours of your day (or comfort). It’s about real, practical solutions to help you save money without sacrificing your lifestyle. And don’t let the name “Frugal in Virginia” fool you. I’m just a Frugal who happens to live in Virginia, but the deals shared here can be helpful for those from Connecticut to California and everywhere in between. In addition to grocery and drugstore weekly deals, you’ll find information on frugal living, freebies, coupons, giveaways, and more.
