Giant Food Deals: 7/31-8/6

by Dana on July 31, 2009

Giant stores double coupons up to and including 99 cents face value.  The final prices below reflect that policy.

Buy 4 gallons of milk (or 4 soy half-gallons), get the 5th one free. Gina at Moneywise Moms is reporting that the free (5th) milk you receive will actually count as the first one purchased for the next cycle of “buy 4, get 1 free” milks.  That means the next time you only have to buy 3 to get another free milk.  Promo ends August 20th.

Thanks! I really like all of the deals that Giant has. They tend to be better than Krogers for me.
p.s. Did you want “Emerald Nuts, select varieties” to be bold?

Thanks for pointing that out to me, Chris! My daughter just woke up from her nap, so I was rushing to get this posted. I appreciate it.

That’s great that you can do the deal with Soy milk too. I don’t know any other store that offers that.

I am just planning my trip for this week now, so sorry for not bringing this up earlier…but, in my Giant insert this week, there are 4 coupons that will double another coupon up to and including $1. Using these in conjunction with some of these deals will give a net price of $FREE$ 3 more days to do this! If you didn’t get the insert, I saw them on the inserts sitting in the store last time they did this.

The General Mills coupons all say “Do not double or triple” for me. I wonder if they still will..? I am rather new to this couponing business.

Chris,

Thanks for letting me know about the doubler coupons. Great deal for the cities that are participating! I hope my local store is taking. (I’ll check Tuesday.)

Yes, the GM coupons should double at Giant. The registers will just automatically ring it up that way. It has something to do w/ the barcode numbers on the bottom of the coupon, and these particular ones allow the store the option to double.

I used my $1/2 Kraft BBQ sauce coupon — since they were $1 each I got it free with the double coupon and then got a catalina for $1.50 on my next order. I thought that was pretty sweet.

I had no problem doubleing the cheerios coupons.
