Swagbucks: Showing Some Canadian Love

by Dana on July 23, 2009

I was just shopping the Swagbucks store and saw something I hadn’t noticed before- a gift card available for Amazon.ca.  I know I have some Canadian readers, so I thought this might be of interest to you guys.  (Have I ever mentioned that my husband is Canadian and I lived there for a bit?  I’m always on the look out for deals for Canadians since they’re near and dear to me!)  It takes just 45 Swagbucks to earn a $5 e-gift certificate to Amazon.ca.

If you’ve never heard of Swagbucks before, it’s definitely worth looking into.  Basically, Swagbucks is a search engine that you register for (free!), and as you use it, you earn points toward prizes like gift cards, electronics, and more. The search results come from Ask.com and Google, and I’ve found Swagbucks to be a very reliable (and user-friendly) search engine.

I’ve been using SwagBucks for several months now, and between my swag bucks earned from searching, referring, and entering promo codes shared by the SwagBucks team, I’ve earned enough points for nearly $260 in Target gift cards or $320 in Amazon gift certificates. These will be great for Christmas shopping this year!

Canadian or not, go here to register for Swagbucks.
