While at the Type A Mom conference a few weeks ago, I was able to get to know a really neat company called Cozi.  Cozi is all about family life simplified.  It’s a free online family organizer with the tools for family calendars (awesomely organized and color-coded), shopping lists, journaling with sharing capabilities, and more.   Cozi even has a neat Live Simply section- a whole online magazine with articles on everything from food, finance, health, travel, and more.  I signed up for Cozi right after I learned met them and while I’m still in the process of getting my Cozi account set up, I’ve been very impressed by the user-friendliness of it.  Plus, my family life is in an utterly disorganized state at least half of the time, so I’m excited at the prospect of Cozi becoming a central organizational tool for my family.  And, of course, the free thing is a pretty major selling point for me.

If this Cozi site is old news to you and you were a member before October 6th, then you should have a free Shutterfly book waiting for you.  Just log into your Cozi account to get a promo code for a free 8×8 hard cover photo book from Shutterfly.  When I logged in, I saw the Shutterfly promo listed at the top of my Cozi homepage.  The photo book could be a great Christmas gift for someone on your list!  I believe you’ll still have to pay shipping on the book, but it’s still a good price in my opinion.

If you haven’t yet signed up for Cozi or did so after October 6th, you can still save $10 on one of these Shutterfly photo books.  Just register and then complete the Getting Started checklist to get your discount code.  You can get more information here.
