Oprah Must’ve Known…

… that I was thinking of going to Payless tomorrow morning! I have a birthday gift card to spend, and am thinking of buying a new pair of flats. And now there’s a 50% Payless coupon available on Oprah’s site. The coupon is good through Friday only, giving you 50% off everything in the store.

I got some ridiculous high shiny heels, house slippers w/ soft fur on the inside, and a pair of Airwalks. They were all on sale already – I must have the frugal gene!

I wound up getting more than I thought I would, but after an ankle injury that prevents me from wearing heels, I needed to get some more flat shoes! I actually bought the shoes you’ve shown except they were pink… I thought they were very comfy.

I got those pink shoes, a pair of silver flats, a pair of airwalk sneakers, a pair of anklet boots, and a pair of knee high boots all for $41, the regular price of just the knee-high boots! It’s like getting the other four pairs for FREE! That just totally made my day!
4 Dana October 30, 2009 at 1:26 pm: Oh, I racked up too, ladies! I bought more than I thought I would, but I was spending a birthday gift card, so it didn’t really make a difference. I bought brown flats, cute Airwalk shoes, black heels, and some nice brown Airwalk flipflops for myself, as well as sunglasses and scarf. Then I got a big pack of socks for my husband and a pair of sneakers ($2.50!) for my daughter. Total: $51!

She had saved back 60 dollars of her B’day money to put towards them and then we were going to have to add a little bit. Because of the coupon she got Ballet shoes, Tap shoes and Jazz shoes all for 38 after tax! Yay for Oprah!!
