The Ball popper was a gift from Santa last year for my then 6 month old. Not only did he love it, but so did my 4 year old and my 7 year old. It certainly grows well with the kids. I just purchased another one for my nephew today (btw- my wal-mart had these rolled back to 17.00...so with coupon I only paid 12...wohoo!). It's a very durable toy and it entertains all of my children for long periods of time.

The Aqua doodle was a bust in our house. It started out as a great toy, but then the kids figured out how to take the lids off of the 'markers' and then they were back and forth filling them up and simply dumping the water our onto the mat....and then of course it doesn't work anymore until it dries out. While I appreciated that it didn't leave a mess (water is no big deal) It didn't occupy my children in the way that I was hoping for.

My daughter (now 3) still loves her Busy Ball Popper and I used to babysit a 6 year old and a 9 year old and they LOVED it. So it is a long lasting toy. Unfortunately, the batteries are not long lasting, at least in my experience. So, keep that expense in mind if you decide to purchase the ball popper!

My daughter had the Busy Ball Popper when she was about a year old, she STILL loves it at 3 yrs! LOL We also LOVE, LOVE, LOVE our Aquadoodle! It can go anywhere, no mess, and you can find different "pens" to use with it. (Some look like pens, paintbrushes, etc) She has played with this daily for almost a year now.
