Harris Teeter Super Doubles

by Dana on January 6, 2010

Now through Tuesday, Harris Teeter stores are running Super Doubles.  The stores will be doubling coupons up to and including $1.98.  (Example, a coupon for $1.50 gives you $3 off instead).  The limit is 20 coupons per household per day.  You must use your VIC card to receive the doubled savings.  If you don’t have a VIC card, you can sign up in store and use your card the very same day.  Harris Teeter stores will double up to three of the same coupons, except in the case of internet printable coupons.  Stores will double up to two of the same internet printables.  I suggest reading the full coupon policy before you shop.  Remember, product prices, as well as coupon values, vary from region to region.

Thanks for the additional match ups, ladies!

Amy- If you think of it, would you mind letting me know later today if our HT was pretty picked over? I think I’ll go in the morning, but am afraid the shelves might be empty right now.

The Johnson’s baby product coupon says it’s expired and won’t print. Is this right?

Thanks for a great list of match-ups Dana! I linked to your post on my blog.
Just a side note on your note to Amy about HT possibly being picked over… this is the first time I have gone to an HT Super Doubles event right at opening. I was super excited to get there early because in the past when I had gone in late afternoon the first day or second day, some of the freebies were completely gone. I was telling my husband that I was looking forward to getting there early, getting the freebies and using my 20 coupons, and seeing/meeting other “extreme couponers” like me. When I got home, I had to tell him the sad truth, that although I was expecting to see quite a few fanatic couponers, it turned out it was just me. We both had a laugh, because that proves that I am a little coupon-crazy :)

Beth- Yes, I have the Crisco offer here: http://www.mrsmoneysaver.com/2010/01/harris-teeter-16-112/
I haven’t tried it myself yet, but have heard its working.

Dave- Yes, its likely its expired already. I’m not able to try printing at the moment, but coupons like this expire in availability at a moment’s notice. And I imagine its been a popular coupon this week due to HT!

Hubby just got back from HT. He was doing a second trip. Sounds like things are pretty picked over in Charlottesville now. Bummer! What are the chances HT will have another superdoubles so I can get a raincheck and use it later, lol?

I went to HT today (2nd trip… been going every day so far) and things were also pretty picked through at my local store here in No. VA.
I did however find a deal that others might be interested in:

Traditional Medicinals Organic Ginger Aid Herbal Tea 16-ct. 1.13 oz. on sale B1G1 Free (regular price $5.79 each)
Purchased only 1 for $2.89 (1/2 price)
- $1 Peelie Coupon on Box DOUBLED (out of all the boxes I saw this was the only one with a peelie)
= $0.89

Also, if you are a breast-feeding mother who likes organic herbal teas which are supposed to help with lactation issues: There is a $1 internet printable coupon on the Traditional Medicinals website. You can find the Bricks $1 coupon here or here that you can use to purchase 1 Organic Mother’s Milk Herbal Tea (promotes healthy lactation).
Traditional Medicinals Organic Mother’s Milk Herbal Tea 16-ct. 0.99 oz. on sale B1G1 Free (regular price $5.79 each)
Purchase 1 for $2.89 (1/2 price)
- $1 Internet Printable Coupon DOUBLED
= $0.89

Happy couponing everyone!
