Rainbow Brite Adventure Pack: 48-Hour Giveaway

by Dana @ Mrs. Moneysaver on February 28, 2010

Mom Select recently sent me a fun pack of Rainbow Brite CDs for myself and friends to help re-introduce Rainbow Brite.  Yes,  that’s right- she’s making a come back!  If you were a young girl in the 80’s, you’ll understand my excitement over this announcement.  It was a blast from the past for me, seeing Rainbow Brite for the first time in years.

I’m excited to introduce my daughter to Rainbow Brite now.  And much to my surprise, that’s going to be pretty easy.  No  more searching yard sale bins for old VHS tapes of this childhood classic! (Rainbow Brite does, of course, have an updated look about her now, so that is an adjust for me but my daughter won’t know the difference.)  There’s a fun new interactive Rainbow Brite website with games and video shorts available, plus a new line of Rainbow Brite dolls has just debuted in Target stores.

As I shared, I received several Rainbow Brite Adventure Pack CDs to share with friends- and I want to give three away here!  Each Rainbow Brite Adventure Pack CD includes an animated movie, games, puzzles, the Rainbow Brite theme song, and more.  If you’re excited about Rainbow Brite making a come back too, this CD could be a fun way to introduce your children to the characters.  The CD is both Mac and PC compatible.

So do you want to win?  Here’s how this giveaway is going to run.  (We’ll make this quick and simple!)

The prize:  3 winners (selected at random from the comments) will each win 1 Rainbow Brite CD, described above.

You have two ways to enter.  Enter in just one or both ways, but please leave a separate comment for each entry:

1.  Leave a comment telling me your favorite 80’s character.

2. Subscribe to this blog, and leave me a comment letting me know you’ve done so. Click here to subscribe by email or feed reader or see the right sidebar to sign up. You must remain a subscriber for the duration of this giveaway. If you’re already a subscriber, leave a comment letting me know.

You can enter anytime now through Wednesday, March 3rd at 1AM EST.  Three winners will be selected at random. I will contact the winners by email shortly after the giveaway ends, and the winners will have 48 hours to respond. If a winner does not respond within that time frame, a new winner will be selected.

Thanks for entering!

Ten free Rainbow Brite Adventure Pack CDs were provided to me by Mom Select, including those three being given away.  While Mom Select provided me with the CDs, I provided my own opinions, as always.

Hmm, it’s hard to pick a favorite from the 80’s! Do big hair bands count as “characters”? haha. I loved Smurfs for much of my childhood, but Vicky from “Small Wonder” also became fascinating as I grew.
