Yes, that's correct. The policy does say that they won't accept the coupons if they don't scan. Though, I've had many occasions where the coupon wouldn't scan though it was completely legit and the qualifying item was being purchased, so the manager pushes it through the register manually (at the request of the cashier, without me even requesting them to do so).

Laura- In the case of the Palermo's coupon- I've used it in the past without problem, so I'm not sure why your HT wouldn't accept it. But as the previous commenter mentioned, if it wouldn't scan then they don't have to accept it. That's unfortunate in this case, since this is a legit PDF coupon. Yes, I believe its okay to print the coupon twice. It's a manufacturer-issued PDF (so the store will be reimbursed in full, plus some), and the coupon doesn't state one coupon per customer, only one coupon per item.

And I apologize for not responding sooner, Laura. I read every comment that is left, but I need to be more on top of my responses!

I wanted to let you know that the finish website had a $3 coupon for the one new Finish cleaner thing and gives you details about how it is like Jet Dry that goes in the dishwasher and counts so you know when to replace. Here is the link that I got: http://www.finishdishwashing.com/index.php?utm_source=feedblitz&utm_medium=FeedBlitzEmail&utm_content=562113&utm_campaign=0

I don't know how much they are going to be but I hope close to free to try them.

Did anyone else have a problem using the Palermo's coupons? I printed them from home and my printer apparently didn't print well enough for the bar code to come out. They would not scan, so my H.T. wouldn't accept them. Also, did you just print the pdf twice? (Even though it has the same bar code)

Hi Sherry- I didn't try the Dannon deal myself last week, but here's my best guess of what happened. The coupon policy says- "We accept coupons for items only of equal or more value; we do not give cash back." My guess is that the coupon was coded to take .75 off just one yogurt in the register even though the coupon print said it was for 6, so the coupon just doubled up to the value of one regularly priced yogurt. The print of the coupon did say it was for 6 yogurts though, so I think the manager should have manually fixed the error and given you the full $1.50 off your total. If this happens again, I would definitely talk the manager once again.

Sometimes the registers can act a bit funny about B1G1 items and coupons on those items, but the Dannon deal should have been pretty cut & dry. The B1G1 or 50% off one items are marked with an * to indicate that each store may have a differing policy on coupons w/ B1G1 sales. You just have to learn what your local store will accept on those sales. For example, if an item is B1G1, my store won't let me use a $1/2 on just 2 of the items. I have to buy 3 instead. Some stores, however, will accept the $1/2 example though.

I bought 5 Dannon yogurt that was on sale at Harris Teeter's. I used a coupon - .75/6. For some reason, the coupon did not double and would only give me .07cents extra. The store manager said it's because its on sale and etc... I just didn't buy that reasoning... Do you know when it would not fully double? There was nothing written on the coupon. If you want to check it out, it's listed in your last week writeup. It's 6 Dannon yogurt for .40 cents and you have a .75 cents coupon that goes with it. I would love to understand how these coupons work. It seems like if you are not on top of it, sometimes they double and sometimes they don't. You go in the store with the understanding that you will spend x dollars, based on your write up and you end up paying much more!

Please advise.

Thanks
