Kroger 3/7-3/13: Green Giant, Gatorade

by Dana @ Mrs. Moneysaver on March 8, 2010

krogerlogo I am basing these deals on the mid-Atlantic sales ad. My Kroger doubles coupons up to and including 50 cents and the final prices below reflect that policy, but check your local ad to verify your store’s coupon policy. Before you shop, be sure to load additional coupons onto your Kroger card here, here, and here. The coupons loaded to your Kroger Plus card do not double and should not be combined with paper coupons.

Remember, there’s a print option at the bottom of the post to help you get organized for your shopping trip!

i went to the kroger today in charlottesville on rio hill and the green giant coupons didn’t double. I had 6 coupons (betty crocker site, coupons.com and smartsource). I purposely went in the self check out. These coupons have a DND-5 and they have always doubled. The woman at the desk said they aren’t supposed to. I left my cart I was so annoyed. Is this something new she’s doing or this the new policy?

in order for it to take the double off, you have to make sure you scan your shopper card BEFORE you do any coupons. i didn’t kwno that until i looked up Kroger’s coupon policy. :) I also called the store and asked them what if it says DND, and she said that it will still double it.

My DNDs have always doubled until recently. Now my Kroger says that they won’t double them anymore if they say DND (though just after I checked this “new” policy with customer service, I had one double). SO…I don’t know what’s up, but they’re supposedly not supposed to anymore even though they always have… Grrrrr….

Oh wow, this is news to me! I haven’t shopped at Kroger since their last Mega Event a few weeks ago, and I know that at that point, they were still doubling. That’s too bad if they’re no longer doubling those DND-5 coupons. :(

I imagine this is one of those “your mileage may vary” situations right now. Some cashiers may override while others may not, and locations may have different policies.

Well I had a completely different experience during my last trip to Kroger, I was told (after spending an hour matching up deals to my coupons) that they will now only take one single internet coupon for any order!! Well i spoke with the manager who was totally clueless. Told them to return all of the items and and asked for a copy of their written policy. The policy was dated 2006 and clearly stated a limit of 2 internet coupons per manufacturer. I will not shop at that store again and plan to voice a complaint with their home office!!
