Safeway 3/17-3/24: Green Giant, Tilapia

Boneless Whole Pork Loin is $1.69/lb in the Bag (which is usually 3+ lbs). I cut mine up into a roast and some loin chops, then freeze it for later. That way, I’m not paying the regular price of $4.59/lb on a week when we want pork.

Safeway Tilapia Fillets are $2.99/lb in the 2-lb. bag using the in-ad SuperCoupon, limit 2. We’re having Asian Fish in a Packet this week, so I was glad to see the price drop another dollar per pound.

Pillsbury Cake Mix is .69/box, limit 3, with in-ad SuperCoupon.

Pillsbury Grands! Biscuits are .99 with in-ad SuperCoupon, limit 4. There was a $1.00/2 coupon in the 3/7 insert or you can print a .30 off two, which will double at some stores.

Eating Right Hummus is $2.49/tub. My kids love the Roasted Red Pepper flavor with celery or crackers.

Betty Crocker Muffin Mix is $2.00, and you can use the Shortcuts and Cellfire e-coupons to get it down to $1.00. Or you can try using this printable manufacturer’s coupon for .50 off at Target.com.

Russet Potatoes 5-lb Bag is $1.99.

Green Giant Frozen Vegetable Steamers are $2.00, but you can get them for .20 when you use this printable .50 coupon that doubles and purchase them as part of the Frozen Food Promo. You need to spend $25 on participating products (check the shelf tags) and you’ll get a $10 Catalina coupon back.

There’s a Buy 3 or more for $1.99 Sale on cleaning products, which can make for some very low prices if you use coupons that double. Check the store’s shelf tags for participating products. Women’s magazines like Real Simple, Family Circle, BHG, and Good Housekeeping have .55 off Windex coupons in them, which would double. There was a .75 off Lysol Toilet Bowl Cleaner coupon in Sunday’s paper, which would double. Let me know if you pick up anything good!

Nabisco Oreo or Nutter Butter Cookies are $1.99, limit 4.
