I was recently asked to participate in a 6-week program with Aquafina FlavorSplash, and at the time, I thought it would just be a fun opportunity to try some flavored water. I didn’t realize just how great it would be for my health.
As a mom to two young kids, sometimes I let what I need get pushed to the backburner. And staying hydrated is a struggle for me. I hit the ground running each morning when my baby wakes up at 6:30, and between breakfasts, diaper changes, and whatever else a morning holds, sometimes I find myself sitting down for lunch just having my first sip of anything for the day. I’ve known that’s a bad (unhealthy) habit, but really, I just haven’t been motivated enough to make sure I drink more.
So, back to the Aquafina FlavorSplash. As a FlavorSplash “ambassador” Aquafina started sending me boxes of the stuff to try a couple of weeks ago. And it tastes really good. (Wild Berry has been my favorite so far!) Good enough that I want to drink it. In fact, I think I’ve been well-hydrated nearly every day since I received my first Aquafina shipment. And with 0 calories, this naturally and Splenda sweetened drink has made me feel just all-around better.
If you want to get hydrated with me too, you print a coupon here for $1 off a 6-pack to get you started. Most Walmarts have the packs priced at just less than $2, making it a pretty nice price after the coupon.
Aquafina also gave me some coupons for free FlavorSplash packs that I want to pass along to one of you! (And look for more giveaways over the next few weeks too!)
So, for the giveaway…
The prize: 1 winner will receive 5 coupons for free Aquafina FlavorSplash 6-packs.

I carry around a bottle of water (16 oz) at all times. I also use the flavor packs like Crystal Light at least once a day. I try to drink 1 to 2 full bottles before 12 pm and then another 1-2 before dinner. I also try to drink a full bottle before I pick up the kids from work – so it’s a game I’m playing against myself. I tell myself I can’t have any other type of drink – soft drink, tea, juice, until I’ve drunk at least 48 oz of water.
I’ve started drinking more flavored water, rather than soda.

I try to stay hydrated because of workouts. Basically, I drink water during meals (to me drinking water makes the food taste a bit better, it makes the food’s natural taste come out). I also drink it while at work, which can be hard because we have free sodas at my job. The best way for me to stay hydrated was getting a cute water bottle and keeping it at work :). Definitely helps!

I try to always have water with me whenI am working on the computer, or exercising. I send my kids to school with water bottles every day, as well. Their school encourages them to keep them filled and on their desks.
I definitely drink Aquafina Flavor Splash. My favorite is strawberry kiwi.

I keep a cup at my desk at work. At home it’s more of a struggle. But now that my body is used to getting it all day, it will trigger something that makes me crave it when I go too long without. Also pick “like” on FB.
I keep a bunch of water bottles and reuseable cups filled so I always have water handy to drink. I limit my other beverages too so I have to drink water.

I have a 20 oz water bottle I carry every day and I have a checklist in my purse to keep track each time I fill up, so I usually drink 80-100 Oz / day. Water is definitely my drink of choice : )
I have a bottle that I bring to work every day. It also gives me an excuse to walk around for a little bit as I fill it up!

I have 30oz Tupperware tumblers – for some reason, drinking out of them makes it a LOT easier to get the 90oz I try to drink in a day. So I fill it with cold filtered water from the fridge, and keep it with me throughout the day. I’m drinking out of it right now, actually …

I try to always carry a bottle of water with me in my purse and I have recently cut out soda.
I drink lots of water by taking the crystal light packages everywhere I go-it saves money from buying soda and keeps me hydrated too.

I keep a water bottle on my desk at school and make sure I’ve finished it before the end of the day, then refill it from the water fountain before I leave to go home.

Some of the other teachers and I went together to pay for a water cooler to have at school. It’s great to always have access to fresh, cold water.
Somehow it is easier for me to drink water throughout the day if I keep a straw in whatever bottle or cup I am drinking from.
I always keep a full water bottle at my desk at work so I always have a drink nearby and am not tempted to go get a soda to drink instead. We also only have water to drink with our meals except occasionally with pizza we’ll have soda just to make sure we’re staying well-hydrated and not drinking our calories

Living in the desert, I usually don’t drink enough water. But I’m always pushing fluids on my kids so they don’t get dehydrated, I just have to remember to pack enough drinks for myself as well. I try to carry a water bottle with me. I found that the biggest thing that has helped me to drink more is having a ice and water dispenser in the refrigerator door. Every time I’m in the kitchen I drink at least a half glass of water.
I sometimes carry around a stainless steel water bottle with me when I go out (especially on trips).

I try to keep colas out of the house and only keep water in the house so that it will always be the drink of choice for everyone.
I have diabetes and generally stay thirsty, so I keep my glass filled with water all day long :) *Thanks* for the giveaway!

I keep a water bottle with me at all times, at work, running errands at home. I use the Crystal Light on the go packs – they are great. I recently tried the Aquafina flavorsplash and they are so good. My 6 and 10 year olds love both Crystal Light and the Aquafina flavorsplash – I hope I win the coupons!
I’m already a subscriber and love to see the updates. Thanks for the great giveaways!
I struggle to stay hydrated because I really don’t like to drink water unless it is ICE cold. My mother gave me this terrific little metal water bottle that keeps water ice cold all day. I fill it with ice and water in the morning and just keep adding water as needed all day. Believe it or not, I don’t have to add any more ice. It stays THAT cold! :) It also has a convenient water-tight, one-handed flip top. As long as I keep that full, I do much better at drinking my water. I’d sure love to try the flavored water for a new twist though! Thanks for the great contests and advice.
I carry a stainless steel water bottle around, and refill it a few times a day!

I also struggle with staying hydrated. I don’t drink water unless I’m thirsty, and I’ve heard that if you feel thirsty, then you are already dehydrated. Like one of the posters above, I like my water ice cold. I’ve found that if I put my water bottle into the freezer for about an hour before I leave for school, then I have enough cold water to last me through school.
I do really well when I’m at work – I have a big 32oz reusable bottle that I fill and drink before my shift is over, at least once if not more. At home…I forget. A lot. Maybe flavor would help.
Hello!
I have to keep my water cold, otherwise I won’t drink it. I also use the Crystal Light packs sometimes, it makes it go down easier.

My favorite flavor is wild berry too. I enjoy drinking water because it helps me to stay full. But the down side is I have to use the restroom a lot more. :)

Crystal Light flavored water to go packets have turned me around…I now drink as much water as soda (baby steps), and we just got SOBE drinks for the first time last week when they were near free at Target. Trying new things…to try to be better!
