Something big happened in my husband’s life last week.
He changed colognes.
This might not seem like a big deal to you, but then your husband probably hasn’t worn the same cologne since junior high. Yes, my husband is a creature of habit, and has worn the same cologne since I met him in the 7th grade.
What prompted this change? Well, we received a bottle of 9IX Rocawear cologne from Elizabeth Arden last week. When I presented the bottle to my husband, he asked, “Isn’t that Jay-Z’s company?” with a bit of a chuckle. Then (here’s the big moment!) he sprayed a little on. The first cologne change in well over a decade. Dramatic music really should have been playing in the background. And he’s worn 9IX each day since. 9IX smells really nice and change can be a good thing, so I’m happy he’s liking it.
I know smells are such a personal taste, but if the dad on your Father’s Day gift list could use a new cologne, a stop by your local department store fragrance counter to give 9IX a whiff might just be worth it.
So let’s get to the giveaway!

My husband will be a first time dad this year and could use a little “somethin’ somethin” to give him confidence! He would love this gift.
My husband could really use some cologne since we cant afford to buy any, and it would be nice for him to be able to use when we do get to have a date night every now and again. I would love to win something to give my husband for Fathers Day this year. In 2008 he was laid off and we lost our home and our cars. My husband and I decided the best thing for our family was for him to go back to school and train for a different career. He is a full time student and is doing so well in school and unfortunately because of me being the only one working we dont have any extra money to do anything for Fathers Day. He is a wonderful husband , father and man and he goes out of his way to try and help others as much as he can and I would love to be able to show him how much we appreciate him and how proud of him we are this Fathers Day.
