do the kellog’s prices already include the $1 off for the $10 back? or is that the pre price?

2 Dana @ Mrs. Moneysaver August 5, 2010 at 7:33 am

Hi Debby,

The prices don’t include the $1/item discount when you consider the $10 off your next shopping trip. So, for example, the pop-tarts are $0.19 after the 50% off sale and the $1/item discount. And that’s not including any coupons!

I’m going today to stock up on cereal.

I guess the 10 off is a catalina deal?

4 Dana @ Mrs. Moneysaver August 7, 2010 at 10:43 pm

Hi Julie,

Yes, the store is offering 50% off, but the $10 off your next shopping trip is a catalina.

Great deal! :)

I just got back from Harris Teeter–$1.30 for 10 products!

I am going back tomorrow–do you know if this catalina rolls?

6 rebecca August 6, 2010 at 7:28 am

Tricia, the cat rolls no problem!! My hubby and I got 20 boxes of cereal last night and roled the cats. We are going back this morning. So cool!

Thank you for the reply Rebecca. I saw your post after I tried my luck and did indeed roll the catalina! I bought another 10 boxes this morning–my family is very impressed!

Isn’t this a great deal?! I bought 10 boxes on Thursday, and will be going back to roll the cat on Monday for 10 (or 20?) more.

This was great timing too. We were down to 2 boxes of cereal in our stockpile, so this cereal deal came at just the right time!

Do you have to buy the 10 products in one trip?

10 Dana @ Mrs. Moneysaver August 9, 2010 at 9:47 pm

Melissa- Yes, all 10 items have to be purchased in a single transaction.

Thanks :).
