This would be awesome – our TV in our living room is going out…sometimes it turns on sometimes it doesnt…sometimes we have to get up and turn it on my hand….which we dont mind….its just a pain because once you sit down on the comfy couch and ready to get movie night going….you have to get back up and flick the switch a couple times for it to come back.

We didn’t watch a lot of TV when I was little. The summers were full of Tiger’s games on the radio. I do think that my husband could make some GREAT memories for our little ones though – Sports are big in our house and how wonderful it would be for Hubby and Son to watch the cubs games or Red Wings games together on this awesome TV.

I would say Saturday morning cartoons with my Dad was the best. He enjoyed them just as much as us.

My most memorable moment with my dad watching TV would have to be the Saturday morning cartoons, my dad was a big kid at heart and loved to watch Looney Toons. I would love to win something to give my husband for Fathers Day this year. In 2008 he was laid off and we lost our home and our cars. My husband and I decided the best thing for our family was for him to go back to school and train for a different career. He is a full time student and is doing so well in school and unfortunately because of me being the only one working we dont have any extra money to do anything for Fathers Day. He is a wonderful husband , father and man and he goes out of his way to try and help others as much as he can and I would love to be able to show him how much we appreciate him and how proud of him we are this Fathers Day.
I would LOVE to win this for my man! We love to watch sports together as a family. For as long as the New Orleans Saints have been a franchise, my dad watched them on Sunday afternoon. My love for the team was born from my dad. He was not here on earth to see them win the Super Bowl – but I was and I watched. I watched with my husband and children. A memorable tv moment with my dad…cannot lie it wasn’t with my dad unfortunately..but it was with my grandfather. He loved to watch the Orioles play baseball and even though he was watching it on tv he also listened to it on the radio with earphones. I miss him greatly….:(

I should win this TV because we had a fire 2 years ago and still have the tiny TV that was in the fire.. its so old and dirty (soot covered it and wont come off).. My husband would love this and if he were to win, he would truly deserve it! He works 80 – 100 hours a week so that I can stay at home and still manages to do our yard work, help with the children and house work! He’s a great daddy and could use a way to relax! My husband would pee himself! The most memorable time wasn’t with MY Dad…It was with my husband when we had our first child. I would feed her, and then he’d want his “cuddle” time with our little girl. He would give her play by plays of whatever he was watching. It was the sweetest thing I have ever seen. My fondest memory of my dad is right before he passed away (I was 10) I got sick and stayed home from school, he stayed with me and we bundled up in blankets with a big bowl of popcorn, and just watched movies! Sigh!!

I should win this because my husband and I lost everything when the construction industry crashed here in FL, and our unscrupulous landlord did not pay the mortgage and we were evicted (foreclosed on) one day while we were at work. Holy Mollie! My most memorable TV time with my Dad wasn’t so much THEN as it is NOW!! When I was just a wee little tyke, my Dad watched M.A.S.H religiously! I was sit with him and watch it too. I can remember when the opening credits would come on I would say, “see Dad, it’s over…can we watch cartoons now?” lol! Now as an adult, I love to watch reruns of MASH and I find myself going back in time in my mind when my 5 year old says…”Mommy, can we watch cartoons now?” What would make this deal even sweeter?? When i was little i grew up watching star trek episodes with my dad and it seems my boys have a love for it too. they know when daddy gets home its time to get on the couch with him and watch star trek reruns that he has dvrd.

My husband would love to win this TV. He just recently went back to work after over a year of layoff. The TV we currently have turns the volume up when we change the channel or vice versa. We have wanted a new TV for a long time but when you are living with only one income a new TV is at the bottom of the list.

Our tv is nearing its end of life! My favorite t.v. memory with my dad is watching Top Gun (his favorite movie) with the sound so loud it felt like the jets were in the room.
Would love to win the TV! I remember watching TV with my dad when we were younger and he was always in control of the remote control..Anytime he would see “flesh” or anything that looks like flesh he would hurry up and turn the channel didn’t matter that it was on regular channels. Now that we are older, if he comes for a visit and we are watching TV and he sees “skin/flesh” he screams turn that, thats 2 much flesh! LOL I guess cause we all were girls..

I used to watch Laker games with my dad when I was a kid. When I got married I moved across the country and we don’t have a tv now but this would be a great win so that I could still watch the games and talk about them later on the phone with my dad.
My husband (my dad passed away) deserves to win this TV because ours is from the 80′s and hubby is a sports fanatic…he would faint if I won this for him. Also…our 28th anniversary is this weekend and this would make a really nice double gift (fathers day & anniversary gift all rolled up in one really cool TV).

My husband and I would love this TV… the signals have gone bad in our current TV and it would be so nice to be able to replace it.
My dad would always watch movies with us, The Neverending Story was our favorite. His favorite move was to wait for the scary music to come on and randomly yell in the middle of the scene… he would always get us, but we would all laugh so hard together at the silly movie, it made the scary scenes seem not so scary.
We’ve had 3 TV’s go out on us in the last 3 months. We’ve been able to replace one, but would love to get a 2nd one for our kids. This one would be ours.

I would like to win this because my husband quit his job to stay at home with our son when he continually failed his newborn hearing screening and it was highly recommended that we not put him in daycare. My dad has been sick lately and is unable to leave the house. This gift would be great. I remember just sitting with my dad after dinner and watching TV.
My father loves all sporting events and I remember my mother threatening to throw away the tv if he didn’t turn off the Super Bowl for dinner. The compromise that they reached was that dinner was served at half time. Dad would freak over this tv!

This TV would replace all of the things, and then some, I had to give up in my recent marital separation. I basically lost everything. I can remember watching baseball games as a kid, with my Dad. He was a Mets fan and we’d watch every game we could. We’d also watch variety shows like Carol Burnett, Donnie and Marie, and Hee Haw. Such good memories.

My hubby has been saving up for a a new TV and this would be far better than anything we could afford at this moment. Many of our “date nights” are based around the TV watching the newest movies after the kids go to bed.
My best memories of my Dad and I watching TV together were when we would watch scary movies. For me it was things like Alfred Hitchcock’s The Birds. Dad would go downstairs to make popcorn right before a scary part and then creep up behind me and scare the crud out of me when the scary part happened. I still love scary movies and of course my Dad.

I remember (vaguely) watching the first moonlanding with my dad. I was very young, but my parents took photos of it so we’d always remember watching such an amazing event!
I would love to win this for my husband for two reasons. One, because he has been doing the full-time work/full-time student deal for the last two years and just barely finished (yay!), and two, because he would FREAK. OUT. and I would pretty much be set for the rest of my life as the most awesome wife. Ever.

I think it goes without saying everyone would love to have this TV. My “dad memory” is watching M.A.S.H when I was little and as I grew, watching the Cosby show and football. But I have to also share one of my husband and daughter. When my little girl was very small I remember my husband sitting with her and watching Mickey Mouse Playhouse and singing along! Something special about all these memories.

My kids and I would love to win this for my hubby. He watches movies on our little dinky hand-me-down TV we’ve had since we were first married. He’s always wanted to save for one, but other expenses have taken priority. What a blessing this would be! (Added bonus, I just read a bigger TV is better for your eyes than a small TV. They must move around more which increases their muscle strength!)
A great TV memory would be watching old movies with my dad on friday nights. His favorite is the Sound of Music! We give him a hard time because he’s such a tough guy otherwise. We even gave him the whistle the dad uses in the movie for Christmas one year. :o)
This would be great because we have a HUGE family, and that makes it hard to sit and watch a movie together.

I would love to win this for my hubby as he’s wanted a big screen for a very long time. The bulb on our tv is nearly gone and we’ve been saving for a long time. We were almost there, until two weeks ago when I got injured sparring in a taekwondo match. this would make THE best father’s day gift for my hubbie! he’d love to have a tv, and some space in the house of his own (i run a daycare in my home, so the whole house is overrun with kids stuff). everytime he saves up for a new tv, something has come up, and he has used his savings for the family, or something fun for the daycare, which i find to be the most admirable thing EVER!

One of my many memories of watching tv with my dad was Shark Week. I loved it. He watched every year. He is in serious need of a new tv his big clunky old one doesnt look like its going to last much longer.
my husband would love to have this tv. we still have the non hd tv so this would be very nice. also my hubby would love t watch cartoons with our son.
I would love to win this for my husband who is the best husband and father to our two children that I could ever had hoped for. He has wanted to big screen tv ever since we met nearly 8 years ago and something has always prevented us from buying one, starting with the purchase of my engagement ring, and then quickly having two children! We watch a lot of shows together and it’s just a fun time we enjoy and look forward to as we discuss things throughout the shows. I would LOVE to be able to give him this for fathers day. OH MY GOSH!!! I’ve been waiting for this prize to pop up! About a year and a half ago my husband was remodeling our home getting ready for the arrival of our son. He was making it ever so beautiful and kid friendly. We bought a huge entertainment center that would house a big screen tv to mount to the wall for kid safety…well, all of the plans fell through on the tv when we lost our son 2 hours after his birth. Sadness to carry on with renovations and financial expenses due to hospitalization stopped it all. The wall has been blank ever since. It would fill yet another empty spot and would make this father’s day something special for my husband that I cannot provide at this time. Praying we win!

My most memorable tv memory with my dad is watching all kinds of murder mystery shows together. I grew up watching Columbo, Matlock, Rockford files, Murder She Wrote. I still think about Dad when I see those shows on :)

Would love to win this! The TV we have now is a total dinosaur and I worry about our two little boys pulling it over on themselves. A wonderful memory I have of my father, not a TV show but TV related, when I was 5 or 6 years old and home sick from school my Dad brought home our first VCR and he had rented the movie “Savannah Smiles”. He sat on the couch with me and watched that movie over and over again until I was feeling better. A great memory of my husband with our son’s is catching the three of them watching “Yo Gabba Gabba” and singing the snackity snack snack snack song together. Priceless!

Well my memory watching tv is with grandpa (just like my dad) I remember staying up late to watch Golden Girls late on the weekends , I never even got the jokes or prob knew what was going on but LOVED spending the time next to POP. the opening still gets me.
Why I should win, not sure more than any other one person here but what an awsome gift to the father of my three boys! We have an older tv and have wanted to upgrade for a while, lost our one income a year ago, found a new job but we don’t make what we use to!
All in all if I had to say why my hubby deserves it I would say because with all the up and down with jobs and income NEVER has the daddy in this house thought about taking me away from our 3 boys.

Well, our “new” tv is not HD ready and our “old” tv has no video inputs, so this would be a welcome change to our house. Mostly, I remember football being all day long for my dad every Saturday. I also knew what I would be watching.

My husband works so hard and is such a dedicated father to our children. He never asks for much but he LOVES TV. It is his way of unwinding after a long and stressful day. Our Mitsubishi big screen is 16 years old and is hanging in there, but what an amazing thing to surprise him with!!! This is something that I could not afford to do for him, that he would never ask of our budget, but would be such a delight. I don’t have a specific memory of tv with my dad, but I am old enough that I was the remote when I was a kid. Things are a bit different now :)
Unfortunately, my dad was extremely sick when I was a little girl. He had kidney failure. The only activity we were able to do together was watch tv. He didn’t even stay awake for that most of the time, but he just couldn’t do anything else. I am so grateful for the time I spent with my dad, even though several years of it was just watching tv. I am so glad to say he is doing very well today. He has had a kidney transplant for 28 years!
I have fun memories of watching the old Bob Newhart show with my Dad and listening to him laugh.
I would loooove a new tv. Ours is very old and small, functional but just not great. I remember the football days with my daddy… and when he’d jump up screaming in excitement over a touchdown or near miss, I’d jump up right along with him, even though I had no idea what was going on in the game.
I just left a comment about my memory with my dad, and now it isn’t showing up. Hopefully this one will count in the place of the other one.
Nevermind, now I see it. I just wasn’t patient enough!
I would love to win this for our home! We just added onto our home, paid for our wedding and honeymoon. This TV would be a great Father’s Day present since a “WOW” gift like this is no longer in our budget!! My fondest memory of my Dad is when we went on the rare family vacation. He always kept his promises, no matter how long it took. He finally took me to Disneyland when I was sixteen to make up for missing out on going to Six Flags when I was 8!!

When I was little I ‘was’ my dads remote control! Didnt matter where I was or what I was doing he would yell “Come here, hurry up! Come look!” When I got there he would say “Change the TV to channel ___” LOL, yet I went running every time!

I would love to win this! We sold our other TV’s when we were laid off last year. We are getting back on our feet, but are not in a position to buy one. My parents visited recently and our current TV was so small my dad could hardly see it and we had to move the sofa closer! :-)
I remember as a child watching baseball games on the TV. My parents have told me that I would just cry and cry, then they would find a baseball game and place me on my dad’s lap. I would immediately stop crying and sit there for hours and hours watching with him. So many fun memories!

This would be an incredible replacement for our current “tube” set. I remember watching the Flyers (so close to the cup this year!) with my dad from the time I could focus on the TV and remember the whole family cuddled up watching the Cosby Show and Alf, etc when I was little.
One of my favorite memories of being with my Dad was watching The Big Valley, High Chaparral, and Bonanza. Also anything with John Wayne! He was a western lover and, although he is in heaven now, I still am.
This would be a great replacement for our “tube” set. My kids would freak out.
I remember sitting with my dad watching the Flyers from the time I was an infant back in the Broad Street Bully days… now my kids watch with their daddy (and me of course).
My dad was always patient with my 20 questions during football. We might be moving soon, and I would to have a new t.v. for a new house!

My husband recently graduated form Notre Dame into the toughest economy in decades. I should win this tv because I am a graduate student who’s only way to unwind after hours and hours of studying is by zoning out watching tv! My favorite memories of watching tv with my dad as a kid always involve basketball. I remember watching the nba playoff’s when the houston rockets were really good. I would quiz my dad the whole game about the players and game strategy. He was always patient and taught me so much!

Our tv died over a year ago and we still havent replaced it. I dont have a father but I have lots of found memories snuggling with my mom and watching old movies with a big bowl of popcorn. My hubby and my kids did enjoy funny home videos together.

I would love to win this because my husband works really hard to provide for his children and with me being a SAHM and extra medical bills, it’s hard to treat him to luxuries like this. He deserves it. As a child, I remember watching Hee Haw with my dad. He loved that show and it would make us all laugh. Fun times!

I can remember watching Jeopardy with my dad every single night. He made me watch it because he said you should learn at least one new thing a day lol. Sometimes he would watch it at an earlier time and know all the answers by the time we watched it later at night. :)

I remember peeking out of my room and seeing the lion roar when a movie was about to start.
Visiting with Dad also means watching sports on TV – I enjoy baseball & football, but golf & basketball has always been a bit of a chore. I’m the oldest of 7 – we all pitched in and bought Dad a new TV in January for his birthday – there’s no room in our budget, but my kids would love to give one to their Dad for Father’s Day this year. I feel my husband should win this TV because he works hard for everything he provides his family. He recently lost his father (less than a month ago) and his father was suppose to be staying with us for the month of June to celebrate father’s day his birthday and watch a huge passion of their’s the World Cup. With his father’s passing it has taken a toll on him. There is no way to make up for the father’s day without his father. This may be one way to see him smile again!
The most memorable thing I would watch on TV with my father was star wars. I hated that show but it was time with my father so I sat there and pretended that it was something I was into.

To my dad, TV means Ohio State Buckeyes Football! I still laugh when I think about him screaming his head off at the officials! It confused me as a kid, but now as an adult I get it – and I’m tempted to join in!
We have a huge family – I’m one of nine kids, and there are grandkids too now – so finding a tv big enough to see around all the heads is hard to do!

My parents divorced when I was young and I only saw my dad on Tuesday nights for a few hours. He would bring me a 6-pack of TAB cola and we would go to my uncle Frank’s where we would eat popcorn, drink TAB (at least my cousins and I drank it-dad and uncle drank their Olympia beer), and we would all watch “Rat Patrol” and “Combat” on my uncle’s new color tv. For years whenever I saw Vic Morrow on tv, he would remind me of my dad and those great Tuesday nights. He would love this big tv and maybe remember those Tuesday nights too.

I would love to show this to my husband as his own. He is the hardest working man I know. He is a full-time firefighter working 24 hour shifts along with working 2 part-time jobs that are 12hr shifts and also
Vol. For our hampton fire dept once a month for 24 hours. He works so hard so that I can be a stay at home mommy to our 2year old son. This tv would be perfect to have family movie nights on those nights he gets to be at home.

My husband worked so hard to finish the basement in a budget friendly manor the tv would be so nice. My dad is a channel surfer all he does is flip through the channels trying to find something to watch. He pauses on a channel long enough for you to get interested and then moves on.

I would absolutely love this for husband. He works day and night to support us and our three children. He loves sports, especially football. But our tv is at least 17 years old – 19 or 20 inch. He always loves looking at the big screens at Costco – but not in our budget. As a child, I loved watching sports with my Dad as he was (is) very into sports as well! i would have to give this TV to my husband – a wonderful father of three who loves to watch superhero movies on our 19-inch TV. my memory of watching TV with my dad: we moved around a lot growing up and lived in Michigan when the Pistons were champions, Texas when the Rockets were champions and Colorado when the Broncos and Avalanche were champions – pretty exciting sports years for us!

I need to win this! When I turn my tv on it makes this terrible buzzing sound for about the first 5 min. it is old! One of my favorite memories of watching TV is that my dad always had to watch all the westerns, problem was he always fell asleep and started snoring, if I tried to change the channel he would wake up immediately and say he was watching that! Never failed! But I learned to like westerns and every time I see one I have to laugh!

One of my favorite memories of watching TV with my Dad, is when we got our first color tv (and I’m “only” 35!). I was very young and had been in bed, but woke up and came out to the living room to find my Dad setting up the new TV. It was a 13″ TV with a 2-button remote from Sears. Everyone else was in bed, but he let me stay up and check out the new TV with him.

The TV we have now is about 15 yrs old and desperately needs to be replaced. I remember me and my dad always watching Saturday morning cartoons together. Thanks for the great giveaway!
I would love to win this. My husband and I are still young and can’t afford all the new stuff. We could only dream affording a tv like this. I remember spending summer days watching Matlock reruns with my dad.
My biggest moment with my dad watching TV was when we were watching our first soccer world cup game in 1978 on our television. A 13′ inch black and white since that was all my parents could afford at that time. My dad cried at the joy of seeing me so happy. We sat, watched and enjoy every game together. Nothing can delete those memories of sharing moments with my dad.
Why should I win? Because I would like to give my dad the opportunity to see this year’s soccer world cup final on a big screen short of being at the stadium.
I remember having to go to bed at 8:30 on school nights and “happy days” was going to be an hour. Fonzi was going to jump the sharks. My dad let us all stay up and watch the show…it was a great family night.

My dad and I used to watch NY Giants football together. I distinctly remember watching the Super Bowl in 1991 when the Giants beat the Buffalo Bills by one point. We were on the edge of out seats!! I’m glad I have memories like that of my dad since he has now been gone from my life for almost 10 years. Winning a TV like that would be amazing! I would watch Giants football on it and be reminded of my dad :)

My father is a really big fan of TV. I remember watching Sunday afternoon classic (aka black & white) films with him while begging him to change the channel. Now I Love classic films, too! Go figure. If I won the TV, I would probably give it to my Dad and take his old one for our home. I think he would be speechless.

OH MY GOSH!!! I’ve been waiting for this prize to pop up! About a year and a half ago my husband was remodeling our home getting ready for the arrival of our son. He was making it ever so beautiful and kid friendly. We bought a huge entertainment center that would house a big screen tv to mount to the wall for kid safety…well, all of the plans fell through on the tv when we lost our son 2 hours after his birth. Sadness to carry on with renovations and financial expenses due to hospitalization stopped it all. The wall has been blank ever since. It would fill yet another empty spot and would make this father’s day something special for my husband that I cannot provide at this time. Praying we win!

I should win this because we’ve had a tough year and a new toy would be fun! I remember watching disney shows with my dad.
Every year for the past four years around Black Friday, we think we’re in the market for a new TV but more urgent, necessary purchases bump it down. Our family of 6 current watches on a big, old hand-me-down Japanese JVC that takes about 4 mins. to lose its greenish tint and changes the picture to concave on both sides every once in a while. Forget being able to read the news tickers at the bottom; it’s all a blur! We’d love to join modern society with a nice TV like this!
I remember helping my dad with the outdoor antenna when I was a kid so that we could eat air-popped popcorn and watch basketball with decent reception. He’d be outside turning the thing, and I’d be inside telling him if it worked. We’d yell back and forth (“A little more!” “How’s that?” “That’s worse. Go back!”) until we got it just right.

Hmmmmm.. why should I win. I don’t know that I have a reason that’s any better than anyone else’s, so I’ll just say I should win because I would love to be able to replace “The Hulk” in my living room with something like this and reclaim all that living space, and there’s no way I’d be able to afford doing so anytime in the foreseeable future (and even past that!).

My dad worked a lot, and when he was home watching the game I’d like to sit with him and watch too… only I was a little chatterbox, because (1) he was rarely home, and (2) he was rarely still! As for tv memories….I still remember having to get up and turn the knob channel of our tv for many years growing up! I was so scared and couldn’t find up ( I was being twirled around) and then I felt myfathers hand grab me and lift me out of the water and I knew then that he would always keep me safe

Wow…I’d love to give this to my husband. We’ve been using the same little tv since we got married 7 yrs. ago. And he’d had it for 3 yrs. before me. My dad and I used to watch old episodes of MASH. He was in the Air force and stationed in Korea for several years. That’s where he met my mom, who he brought back here to America. She passed away when I was six. He had a hard time talking about her but when we’d watch MASH he’d remember something and start talking about her and his time there. Precious memories.

My husbands deserves a new one because the one we have is the first one he bought at around 18 years old. So it is over 20 years old. It still works good because he took care of it. But I would love to get him a newer one.
Growing up we didn’t have a tv so I don’t have any memories of watching tv with my dad by when we first got married we would cuddle on the couch and my hubby and I would watch nascar racing. (which he was very into at the time)

Most memorable TV watching moment with dad had to be the evening my baby sister was born. Dad and I were watching Married with Children (back in 88) when mom walked in and politely informed us she was in labor and her water had broke. My dad leaped off the couch and started grabbing stuff, I sat and watched both him and the show double the entertainment.

Why should I win? That is not easy to answer, but I have never once had a brand new TV set (mine have always been hand me downs from family who upgraded or free TV’s I found curb shopping and even one free one from Freecycle and none of them lasted very long). I deserve to win this tv because we purchased a Toshiba tv 4 years ago & have had tons of problems with it, went months without it while it was getting worked on & it still is not working. As I type, it’s sitting there in the living room basically collecting dust because a tech came last week and removed yet another part to take & rebuild. Who knows if it will work this time when they bring it back in a month. All of the main components on this tv have been replaced or rebuilt. Luckily we bought the extended warranty but it’s been a real piece of crap. Like a huge anchor in our home that we can’t use. We spent over $3000 for it back when I was working a full time job and making good money. Since then I’ve quit that job and don’t have the money to just go buy a new tv. It’s about time we have one that actually works. I’d love to win this one so I can quit begging Toshiba to do what’s right and either replace this tv or refund our money. They don’t care about us or our problems with their product. What a shame!
I forgot to add that my memorable moment with Dad watching tv was when I was about 6 years old. My Dad and I used to lay on the couch after dinner and watch Wild Kingdom. We’d wind up falling a sleep and taking a nap together. I loved watching the animals and spending time with him.

When I was a child watching TV(usually PBS) with my Dad and Mom, we didn’t have a remote at that time. My siblings and I took turns laying on the floor near the TV to take turns changing the channel. Then finally we bought a TV with a remote but we still wanted to lay on the floor near the TV for the “tradition” of it all.

When I was a child, I’d watch the Friday night fights on tv with my dad. I didn’t like boxing, but I loved the Gilette them song!
I remember having to get up and change the channel for my dad, before remotes and 1000 t.v. channels. Seems like a bad thing but it wasn’t. I also remember watching Mutual of Ohmahas Wild Kingdom with my dad, we both still love nature shows and now my son enough watching them with me. It would be nice to watch them with him on a beautiful television instead of the old relics we have.

My Dad is no longer with me, so this would go to my Hubby. He watches movies with my kids, turns of all the lights, and makes popcorn. My kids love it and call it home movie night. It is a wonderful memory because it is something I did as a kid with my Dad.
My husband would love to have this TV. He has been unemployed for nearly 6 months and things have been rough for us. I know it would brighten not only his Father’s Day, but his year. He is such a good man and though he doesn’t talk about it very much, I know being unemployed is a difficult road for him.
My favorite TV memory with my dad was watching Disney movies together. We were 3 girls in my family and he happily sat there and was engaged as we watched all sorts of princess themed movies.

I remember sitting with my dad going through the paper pick out horses before the races would start. Then sitting in front of the TV waiting for my horse to win because I would get dollar for every winning horse I picked. All I could think of was penny candy store

My dad always wanted to have a nice big TV in our home, but because there are more important things that the money has to go to, he and my mom keep postponing it until now. I think this will be a great gift not only to my dad, but also to my mom, as a way for me to say thanks for all these years that they’ve continually supported me.
I have tons of memorable TV moments with my dad, but watching basketball on TV with my dad has always been at the top. Since we root for different teams most of the time, watching the games always prove to be more enjoyable and thrilling for the both of us.

The reason that I want to win this awesome TV is that our family TV is in dire need of an upgrade. It is starting to be passed by new comming technology and the marker stains from my 2 year old are starting not to come off. I remember watching every inning of the many baseball games that my dad used to watch. I started out wishing he would change the channel and ended up sitting on the same couch yelling at the umps as if they could hear us. Now my 2 year old ask my when are we gonna watch the game, and if mommy’s nice, she will let her stay up until I gett of work so she can watch the replay of the game with daddy in out favorite chair. Life has it’s ways of making you smile even after a tough day at work!

I would LOVE this! Our TV now has two big cracks in it from a runaway firetruck. It still works but you have to watch around the cracks! Annoying! And I’m not sure this counts as a “tv” moment with my dad, but I remember, as a kid, sitting in front of our console tv, with my dad, playing Atari. Ms Pacman, Centipede, and Frogger. Awesome!

Its time for us to upgrade the TV and this is a great way to do it. My favorite tv moment with my dad is watching cartoons with him. I never thought it odd that a grown adult enjoyed watching the same cartoons I did. We would schedule out our tv shows and then just laugh and laugh as we watched them together.

I would so love to win this for my husband. My favorite tv moment with my dad was watching the Jay Leno tonight show opening monologue together, before I went to bed. Fun times!
Our tv is eight yrs old which is ancient in tv years. We use a converter box, lol. My dad has passed away but we loved to watch movies on cable when I visited him. My mom didn’t have it (or a tv :), so it was a treat to curl up on the couch with snacks and soda and watch movies as a child.
I should win this because we couldn’t afford to buy our own tv. Our TV was lent to us by a friend. Being both in grad school, my hubby and I are on a tight budget. As for memorable TV moments with my dad, it will be watching sports (basketball, boxing matches) and the Olympics.

I remember as a child, walking with my dad to church. And I thought his legs were so long, I had to run to keep up with him. We lived in a small town and always walked to church. I used to sit between his legs at the ball park to watch the games and put my arms up on his knees. So proud. And as I got older, and he got older, he got shorter, and suddenly I was taller than him. He passed away from cancer. I really miss him <3

I am moving into a new apartment this fall and right now my roommate and I have a tiny 15″ tv that plays VHS, it would be a great moving in gift to the two of us. Growing up my dad and I would watch the Antique Roadshow, any tv show he watched growing up, as well as the Crime Scene Investigation type shows. I would really appreciate to win this TV because my current TV is very small, very ancient, not a flat panel and about on its last leg. It would be so wonderful for our family to have a big screen TV to watch movies on. A memorable TV moment with my dad was watching the Oakland Raiders play football back in the day when they were a good team.
Right now we are using a really teensy TV…it’s less than 20 inches I’m sure. We need something nice and big!

I would love to win this TV for all the great dads in my life – most of whom are my sons! I have 8 great sons (& 1 girl!) who simply amaze me at how good they are at being dads! It is not because of example because their dad loved them in his own way but didn’t really know how to be a dad & we split up. I never had a dad either, so I love it when my kids all get together to watch football and they are so friendly & good to each other and now to their own kids! Their patience just blows me away as I watch them interact with their kids. I would love to have this big TV for us all to watch together!

I would love to win this TV for my parents. They are still using a static-filled old console TV and they definitely deserve an upgrade.
One memory I have is watching Big Ben with my dad late at night when he got home from work (in the summer). If I heard him get home I’d get up so that we could spend some time together. I think half the time I’d fall asleep and he’d have to carry me back to bed.

What an amazing and gracious prize to win for one lucky person! Growing up, my dad supported my sisters and I and my mom when she decided to go to college when I was 6. There was never a time he didn’t show up for a game and he had dinner on the table every night at 6pm. He not only was my dad but Mr. Mom too. He is a truly amazing dad. My memorable “Dad TV moment” is watching the Lawrence Welk show every Saturday night when we were kids. We pretended to hate it but really we liked spending the time with Dad!
My husband watches more tv than anyone I know…how great it would be for him to watch Sunday football on a huge screen!

Wow, what a fantastic giveaway! I can’t imagine watching some of my favorite shows and movies on something this nice. My current television was purchased in 1998 and now a fifth of its screen doesn’t show any picture at all – just black. We’ve just sort of lived with it because our funds have been pretty low since it messed up, so having this TV would be an absolute joy! One of my favorite memories of watching TV with my father was watching space and nature programs. This piqued my interest for astronomy at such a young age and I still adore learning about space, and of course, nature. Thank you so much for the chance to win such an amazing television!

We always used to watch football and fishing with my dad. Seriously, watching fishing shows has to be the most boring thing in the world, but we would sit there with him & watch! :) We have 2 tv’s in our house – both of them over 10 years old. I don’t know that I NEED a television (I mean, there are people all over the world who live without them), but I do know why I’d LOVE to have it. My husband is ill and he rarely leaves the house. Television is his primary source of entertainment, so I’d love to have a large screen TV for him.
My most memorable moment watching TV with my dad was watching an old John Wayne movie on television. One of the bad guys said “The sheriff has many men” with a REALLY BAD ACCENT. Many years later – we still use this catchphrase with each other.

After 5 years of Marriage we’ve just bought our first TV. That’s right, 5 years without a TV. Now we have one, but only in the livingroom and it’s much smaller… I’d love to move the small one to the bedroom so we could watch movies in bed and put the big one in the livingroom…
My dad loves watching movies and my favorite memories are when he’d bring home an oldie like The Apple Dumpling Gang and all 10 of us would sit around eating popcorn and laughing at Don Knotts.

I am a single mother of 5. Over the last few years I have been ill. I am now in remission and our family would love this TV. Watching TV was on of the one things we could do as a family. We live in a one bedroom apt, this TV would take up the whole space, believe me that’s OK. Because I couldn’t work, most of our items were sold and we are poor but trying to dig out of a hole. My dad was always working but was home on Sundays nights for Columbo. It is now one of our favorite shows to watch as a family. Good Luck to all!!

I remember watching cowboy shows with my dad…and lots of football games!
My husband would be so amazed to get this for Father’s Day! He’s had such a rough year and this would definitely make his day. My father was always trying to teach us in every aspect of our lives so watching tv with him meant Jeopardy or Braingames (on HBO) and things like that.

My husband is in full World Cup mode and this would definitely we a sweet treat for him to watch the World Cup on especially sinnce I know he would never buy something like this for himself thanks, lisa :)

Well, I’d win this for myself because I’m mom and dad in our home. And I have an appreciation for a good tv! I remember about 5 yrs ago in December, my dad took me on a motorcycle ride. I can’t remember the last time I rode in the winter. It was a great time with him!

I should win this TV because our house is the “get together” place for our extended family. I love throwing movie parties, superbowl parties and more. We also have a great multi-player game system that would be awesome on this set. I can imagine some great family bonding. As for my father….well, I think he was responsible for making me a “news junkie” as that’s all I can remember him watching and now it’s what I do.

We have the oldest biggets projection screen TV EVER. We just bought our first home (after having our first baby 6 months ago) and I kid you not, the house is 500 sq ft. Yes, Five Hundred. Our current TV takes up half the livingroom. A flat screen would be awesome!

TV is what my husband and I do together for entertainment. This would be a great addition to our rec room. One of my most memorale moments with my dad is sitting in his recliner with him, watching tv, while he drank his Pabst Blue Ribbon beer.

I would love this for my husband who has been an awesome DAD to my two kids.
My Dad would love this TV to watch Alabama football (ROLL TIDE!), the weather channel, and old John Wayne movies with his grandkids! My most memorable TV moment with my Dad is sitting in the recliner together having a bedtime snack (either pickles and potato chips or peanut butter and vanilla wafers) and watching the Andy Griffith show almost every night!

I would love to see the world in High Definition! The brilliant colors, the clear picture, to watch movies from my home and feel just like I’m at the theater would be such an upgrade from the 19″ inch piece of junk I’m watching shows on now!
My tv moment with dad was watching news coverage back in 1991 and the start of the gulf war. We we’re all on the edge. Worried about what was going to happen. Praying for our troops. And the many friends and family members that were going to have to go overseas. My dad gave such comforting words to me then. And I’ll never forget them.

I would like to win to TV for my father because he has never been able to afford such a “fancy” television. He has worked non-stop for the whole 20 years of my life (and the 22 years of my sister’s life) to ensure that he could offer us all he could. My mother was a stay at home mom, so living on one income limits the amount of crazy luxuries one can buy, and a cool TV was never in the budget. Currently, we have a hand me down tv from a friend, and I know such a gift as this giveaway television would bring him to tears.
My father-daughter TV moment? Watching our favorite movie series, Star Wars, over and over…and over again. We quote most of the lines, and enjoy the plot a little too much, haha :)

My dad is sorta a nerd..lol, and he made me watch Star Wars with him. I didn’t really it, but I enjoyed his company. I can see my kids playing Mario Cart with my husband with this TV.

I remember as a child ,my dad would watch the “Power Rangers” show with me,and make me popcorn.

I would love for my husband to win this TV. He has had a seriously rough couple of years, and lately it seems like there has been nothing but bad news. It would be so great to actually get some good news! He makes loads of sacrifices for his kids and is a wonderful dad. He is goofy and fun, even after a crazy day at work.

Im aware they are many great dads but im a bit biased although he became my stepfather at age four and we tortured ( my brother and I ) him for two years and mother didnt want to date him poor guy ( they will be married 36 years in September ! ) .He became an awesome dad its as if I hit the lottery for non blood relatives ! Hes spent his whole life giving to others even if he barely knew them and never asked for anything in return .We had a homeless for thanksgiving a few times .Kids from the neighborhood ate at our house we met people from Haiti and Japan ( we learned alot about culture and respect ).He would give everything he had if he thought it would help someone . His tvs outdated and very old almost 20 years ! Hes a big cleveland sports guy and if our teams continue to lose for the most part he”d have something to look forward to with a new tv although he will probably have to watch symphony concerts with my mother as well poor guy.I just appreciate the chance your giving Thanks Sincerely Paul

Why I should win: I “need” a new TV for the wall, I have a very small living room and won a tv years ago that is a MONSTER……. huge big bulky , sees double and lots of “blue” , I will be donating that TV to someone with some techy skills to fix that also has a big living room, I need something for the WALL so we can have some walking space. This TV is perfect. I was in the running to win a TV last year and was in First place with a “football” story I wrote, this win was “taken” from me when someone else posted a “I have a sickness” post (not the rules of the contest) that took all of the votes…………… I was told I had the best football story (thats what it was about) but I didn’t have the “sympathy” vote aka I wasn’t sick, :(
soooooooooooo I am trying to win a TV fair and square and at the same time donate a tv to someone that can use it but unless I can come up with a sob story, it looks glum :(
Memory with Dad……..
TV time was LASSIE (aging myself here) and every episode would be a cliff hanger and Lassie would be in danger of some sort to make you watch the next episode. I would fall for it everytime , my Dad would laugh and say , “if you don’t stop crying I will have to make you stop watching Lassie” which would have been the end of the world, because I wouldn’t find out what may happen, so I would stop crying (sniffle sniffle). I may have to get him some Lassie episodes for Dads day!

My husband and my son would love this! I don’t have many memories of watching TV with my dad (he’s not much of a TV guy) but my husband has my 4-year-old addicted to shows like Dirty Jobs and Ice Road Truckers.

My dh remembers watching STL Cardinals games with his dad b4 he passed with cancer.
My most memorable moments are watching movies together.
I should win this TV because I am still using one from the dark ages that isn’t even cable ready! I remember watching the movie Caddyshack with my dad when it finally came on HBO…there was a scene that came on that made him laugh so hard, not only did he fall out of the chair by he knocked the lamp over next to him!
I should win it because we are using a hand-me-down tv right now. I’m sure my husband would love watching TV on a nice, new TV.
I remember every Sunday my dad getting the remote and turning on NASCAR. Then, he would go to sleep. If we touched the remote, he would wake up.
So excited about this… hoping to have our kids watch hockey with Daddy just like I did.
Would love to win this for my hubby. He and our 4 year old love watching cartoons together. I did not have a dad to watch tv with so think it is great that they enjoy doing this together

Oops also- a memorable moment with my Dad….I don’t “remember” this per say..But my Dad tells this story ALL THE TIME! He would lay me on his chest and watch the Cubs game while I slept… Now that I have a baby, my husband does the same thing with our son….

I would like to win this TV so I can give it to my husband. He works so hard for his family-he never complains about it-he just does it because he loves us.
As for my most memorable moment of watching TV with my dad was when my parents got divorced when I was 8. My dad would come pick me up and we would go to the video store and rent movies to watch. We would watch anything and it was really special to me. :)

I would so love this. My dad and I would sit and watch cartoons every saturday morning.
oops supposed to say why. My husband is a movie buff and loves to come home and relax in front of the TV. He remembers wearing a bow tie to the Star Wars movie his Dad took him to because to him it was a special occasion. With a DVR he is able to watch some of his favorite movies and shows and as a family we enjoy that time together. It would be the best Father’s Day gift yet if we were to win.

I don’t have any memories of watching TV with my Dad, because he didn’t start watching TV until his golden years (after all of his kids left home). He passed away in 2005 at the age of 95. He was a wonderful man.

I would love to win this tv for my hubby. He is a great Dad. A few days every week he works his day job then goes to a second job on the side and gets home around eleven or twelve. My memory of television with my dad? We had an anti-television house growing up… no cable. Sometimes my dad would pull a tiny little tv out of the closet, hook up the bunny ears, and we would all sit and watch Wheel of Fortune or Jeopardy. Fun times…. really, they were fun.

My husband always “gives up” the TV (our nice one I might add!) in the living room to the girls to watch. If there’s a show he wants to see, or if it’s a show that’s inappropriate for them, he goes into the bedroom and watches our small, old one. As for a memory with my own dad, we had special shows we watched as a family every week, but I remember most of all joking with my dad throughout them! We watched A-Team and the Muppet Show all the time!!!!

Best tv moment in our family – my little sister was carrying a bowl of chips into the room where all the men were watching a game. Just as she entered, my dad yelled at the tv really loud, causing her to literally throw the bowl of chips up in the air, she was so frightened!! More than 30 years later, we still laugh about that!

When I was little my dad was in charge of potty training. He took me to my grandma’s house (less distractions) and we spent the entire day watching football and going to the bathroom. My mom says it worked like a charm!

I should win this TV for my husband. Him and Becka ( my oldest) love to snuggle up and watch a movie. He’s in the army and he leaves randomly to train or deploy or go in the field. The time they get together is so precious and it’s always amazing to look over and see her snuggling him while watching “Princess and the Frog”.

One of my favorite TV memories with my Dad was seeing the joy on his face after all of us kids pitched in to have the old family 8mm movies put on DVD so he could easily watch them on the TV anytime he wanted. And, of course, we had lots of fun watching them all on TV! <3

i would love to give this Tv to dad. he is awesome and never asked for anything in return. the best memory about watching Tv with my dad is that we use to watch WWE. he use to move as they throw each other out of the Ring,..and yea i used those moves on my brothers & sisters….
My husband is an awesome dad! There is nothing sexier than watching my husband talk about and play with our kids. I love watching him interact with them. My boys are always so excited to see him, they can’t wait to tell him about their day, and my husband takes the time to listen to them. He reads them stories every night! Over Memorial Weekend he took our boys to his family reunion and gave me the weekend off, to enjoy some time alone. And I didn’t even have to ask him. During football season, Monday are father/ son breakfasts at a local store here in town. My husband, Josh, is truly an amazing father. I love him dearly and have so much respect for him. When he comes home from work, I know he is tired but he always finds the time to sit down and talk with our boys about their day.
My father is also a great dad!!!! My fondest memory of my dad is doing Tae Kwon Do with him. We both started off as white belts when I was 7 years old. We both made it to our 3rd and 4th degree black belts. All the training, all the camps, all the tournaments, all the quality time I got to spend with my dad. Those are truly memories that can never be taken away. He supports me in everyway. He is a great father and a great granddaddy!

Our TV has a sound issues and goes mute with no explanation at all… OR it makes a REALLY LOUD screeching sound and scares the begeezes out of all of us! So my hubby REALLY wants a new TV, but it isn’t in the budget!

My father has always made me watch football on Sundays and Mondays with him and his friends in his garage… Kind of like tailgating, just in a garage! He has about 4 little 30″ TVs on this bar he made, and he has one with the Dolphins with the volume on. He has always given me everything I have ever wanted and/or needed! If I win this, I will definitely give him this 60-Inch Mitsubishi DLP Home Cinema TV. Thanks for taking the time to listen to my story about my little family’s tradition!

I always loved hanging out with my dad, I don’t have TV moments as a child b/c I never watched TV, but lately my TV moments have been him turning it to HGTV for me since we don’t have cable at our house it’s a treat to watch while he and my husband tolerate it :)

Why should we win the tv?….because the tv in our main living area is about to go out, every morning when we turn it on there are big wavy lines and a loud buzzing sound for the first hour or so that it’s on. And, our dryer just went out, so, if we have to replace an appliance the dryer will come before the tv. It would be a wonderful Father’s Day surprise if we won!
A memorable tv moment with my dad….whenever we would be watching tv, my dad would often randomly shout out “listen” or “be quiet” – even though no one was making a sound. We always thought it was so funny. The sad thing is, I find myself doing the same exact thing and my kids make fun of me for it.
I would LOOOOVE to win this tv! One of my favorite memories of watching TV with my dad is us watching WWE, which then was WWF, or NWO wrestling with him. He used to get so into the matches and make the most humorous observations! He was a true pleasure to watch TV with.

This is a bit different for me since I grew up without my dad, My mom was my dad too! SO If I won this tv it would be for since she always sacrificed for me and my siblings I would love to spoil her a little now!
My hubby has worked so hard piecing together multiple jobs after being laid off, this would be such a treat for him. I have wonderful memories of watching HBO movies with popcorn with my dad, mom and sister.
I should win the tv because my husband is a night shift police officer and misses all the great tv events, tv shows, and movies. He loves baseball as do both of my daughters. It is a real family thing we share and for his hard work, I want to give him this tv! PICK US!!

Our tv has a nice little line through it. My husband is the best dad. He has read and researched and has even met with other dads to be the best he can be as a dad. He prays and read the Bible to be the best husband and father. I would be so happy for him to watch Notre Dame games on it.
My dad is gone and we connect our kids with his memories by watching Steeler games. I tell of the days when my dad would go to games or we would watch them on tv.

I want to win this tv because ALL of the tvs in our house are on their last leg. The one in our main living area is a 32 in. and the top 3 inches are blurred out!!!
I grew up without my dad and I never watched tv with my step-father so I don’t have any TV moments to share. :( I have fond memories of watching tv with my grandma on Fridays though! Every weekend when I was young I’d go over there and we would watch TGIF from 8-10pm.

My dad was a HUGE movie lover. I grew up with the likes of Bogart, Cagney, Tracy and Hepburn, however, my most memorable TV moment was watching Saving Private Ryan with my dad. He was in the Korean War and never talked much about actually being there. We both quietly cried through that movie and I could tell that it resonated with his experiences and gave me such an insight to what he had gone through. I lost Mr.B in 2003 but my love of cinema is still dear to my heart..

I would love to give this tv to my husband for being such a great Dad and hubby! We love having movie nights and this would make them soooooo much better!
iam a 59 year old man the reason ineed to win this tv is because i am paralize form a stroke i have 4 boys four girls and we wold love to be able to have a big tv like that so all of us can watch together i .i been paralize since 2003 we are poor and that would be the joy of our life.now i can not work because of the stroke plus the wife have to keep the kids i only live off my litte social security.so please let us be the family to win a nice tv we will allways be grace for two you.thank you for letting us be the winners we deserve to win if you let us.as a child we live in shreveport louisiana we were very poor me my dad my mom and two sister.a lots of days we did not even have food to eat but we had love.me and my dad was so close every where he went he carried me we were like batman and robin.i was a very little boy at one time we had a few pigs horses chickens,my dad use to haul ice for a living 15 dollars a week,so why my dad was selling ice.i was a little boyi not like to see my dad work so hard.so i did thing to help him i feed the cows and all the animals.we did not have running water,so i had to draw the water from the well.sometime i had to draw water for 3 four hours everyday.but i was so happy be able to help take some of the burden off my dads so when he came home he could get some reat every morning 4 am he cut timer wood to support his family this was after the ice job.so me and my dad would be so glad to be together we drove different places to fine more timer to cut.plus we also did not have no gas we burn wood on a wood burning stove to keep warm in the winter this kept the whole family close the only way we stated warm was every body would be in one room.mw and my dad would all ways go visit his friend as as me and my dad rode down the highway we would be singing,i still remember our favorite swong was mary mack all dress in black with silver bottom all dow her back iam getting kind of emotion,the love for my dad that i had for him and he for me stays on my mind. i can see my dad now.my dad was a big on man i can see him with a shovel in his hands education he never had but dad and God worked wonders when time got bad.my dad was the love or my life after God my dad was my all and all.my tyhing as a child was to help my dad and make him happy.sometime he would come home me and my friends wopuld be playing ball my dad would say let me hold that ball so i can see can you catch.my dad had the biggest hand in the south his rings size was 19 and one half.when he threw the ball it fell like the glove was on fire.but i wanted my dad to be proud of me so it was hot but i caUGHT the ball,if you miss you would be sorry so when he throw me and friends know not to miss,my dad was proud of me i would catch every thing he threw.so talking about my dad hurt he was my dad my friend the love of my life i thought the world of him and to think how much i miss him and to tell this story with tears in my eyes so i feel like i deserve to win this tv for sharing the love i have for my dad and this is not no were near all i can say i would take years to tell the whole story so God bless you and give me a chance to watch my dad on big screen me and my friends and family.
My husband works between 60-70 hours a week. I would love for him to be able to watch his favorite shows 60 Minutes and Brewers Baseball on a BIG tv! He works so hard, he deserves something special!

My son would love to have this to give his Dad for father’s day. He is the best dad ever to our two kids. Especially since he doesn’t have to be to my son. He has stepped up and been the daddy my son didn’t have, and did it long before we had our daughter together! Thats a true daddy there! My son and husband enjoy watching Phineas and Ferb together!! I literally just got home, I had to go out of town this weekend for my dad’s funeral ( horrible right? right before father’s day). Losing my Dad so close to father’s day has made me think about and appreciate the time I did spend with him. It also has made me appreciate even more how great of a Dad my husband is to our 7 yr old daughter. She is a little daddy’s girl and he is so great with her. I’ve been out of work and looking for a while so if we could win any prize it would be great. (I’m sure if we win the TV my daughter will con her dad into watching Hannah Montana with her, lol)
I played Atari w/ my dad on our TV. It would be fun for our kids to play WII on a HUGE TV! :)
my dad was the kindness man i know besides God.me and my dad was very close.after school you seen him you seen his baby junior.when i was a baby he dress me like a man dob hats suite and ties,fancy shoes etc part in my hair like his.i have movies of my dad befofre he died we should win this tv for the love of my father to me,so the whole family can get together and see the video all together.you know when you watch something together it better.so my eight kids 4 boys 4 girls and 13 grand kids watch my dad with me all at one time with me telling the story about me and my dad makes me feel like a movie star and a producer that wrote the story.that man was the love or my life ,i was like the twin of my father,people seen me that i use to work with, older mens would say boy come here.aint you eugene phelps son. i would ask them how do you know they would say you look like his twin.so many time in my life this would happen.then you could see me say sure you right thats my dad.i say how you know they would say we were raise up together in mississippi went to school.and i would be so excited now i walk away with my chest sticking out.i remember i was playing football in shreveport louisiana i was in the quater back slot when thr ball was snap defense jump me so fast they broke my arm.my dad came on the field and got me so fast the rescue did not have a chance.he drove me to the hositipal 90 to 100 mph i said dad slow down i can take the pain so my dad was the next thing to me as God God is onein my life i remember we stay in the country some night me and my dad would sleep out doors all night on army fold up beds.i was scared of tight spots,because in the south there are a lots of snakes.sometime our dog will have puppy under the house app 2 ft.high if he wanted the pups i would force my way under the house to get them.any thing to make him happy,he was the love of my life him and mom we were very close.we had horses some never been rode my dad was going to be the first to ride.so when you get on a horse never been rode he is very wild mainly the boys.i would tell my dad no iam younger.let me ride just hold him with a rope so he will not run away with me so we did it he would be so proud of me.some time i would ride our cows to make him smile the hogs etc.even today i dont like to think about my dad at 59 years old it makes me cry like right now,he was my pride and joy.i would not have pick no dad in the world over my dad dad i love you i hope you can see me crying and sharing the love with every one that read.every body that knew my dad love him he allways help people every body love him black white,everybodywell iam going to cut this short it hurts talking about him and i cant hugh him me and my family went on vacation to see him in 1994 he was so happy.when we were backink up to leave my wife seen him crying i waited before i left first time i ever seen him cry it hurt as it hurt me to tell the story iam crying right now thinking about him.he think he had one more son but he know he had me .1n 1996 the year he died he was going to seattle washington to see he did not make it he died that year of food posion.he was down south la. i was in ill i was going were he was the next day.they camm me said he died that day i walk out side and scream so loud and so many times i allmost lost my mind.so i better stop here it so hard i dont want to tell this story no more soon i cant take it.i am 59 years old it will take me 40 years to tell the story my love for dad and dont leave out mom she is a winner 86 years old.i can still see were my father grave is under a tree in shreveport la.the funeral was to much for me my dad was so well nowing they had his funeral two days i almost died that day so if i have a chance to win the tv i would be thinkful so we can say my dad as he live as he died a big kind not fat but tall ring size 19 one half so God bless all of you weather i win or not but hope so and lets pray for our soilders two are my son were in combat and one just went to iraq flying a black hawk plus appeache let pray for the USA AND OUR SOILDERS GOD BLESS AMERICA LAND THAT WE ALL LOVE PEACE AND DONT FORGET THE LOVE ME AND MY DAD HAD STAYS ON MY MIND GOD BLESS ALL WAYS LOVE YOU MOM AND DAD LOVE EVERY BODY YOU FAMILY AND MIND THAT IS THE WAY WE BROUGHT UP OUR KIDS LOVE EVERYONE WE ALL ARE HUMAN AND ONCE WE LEAVE THERE IS NO COMING BACK.I LOVE YOU AND YOUR FAMILY MRS MONEY SAVER.WE ALL ARE HAVING HARD TIME IT IS SO NICE OF YOU TO MAKE SOMEONE HAPPY BLESS YOUR FAMILY
